மெட்டி இசை பாட வரும் கட்டழகி மீனாட்சி

கட்டி அணைத்து மகிழும் இளங்கிள்ளை

தட்டி எனைத் துயில் கலைத்த சுட்டித்தனக் குறும்புகளைக்

கொட்டி நான் எழுதி வைத்த புகழ்மாலை

பட்டி தொட்டியிலும் அமர்ந்து பாமரர்க்கும் அருள் செய்யும்

க்ருஷ்ணனின் மருமகனாம் ஐங்கரனை

கொட்டிப்பறை முழக்கிக் கைகள் தட்டி நான் பாடுவதில்

அட்டி ஏதுமுண்டோடி ஓ கிளியே
