கண்கள் திறந்து பார்த்தால் தான் என்ன

வலையொன்று பின்னி வகையாய் இழுத்தாய்

சிலையாக நின்றேன் சிந்திக்க வைத்தாய்

கலையொன்று தந்து களித்திட வைத்தாய்

மலையாக உந்தன் அருள் அள்ளித் தந்தாய்

பித்தா என்றேன் பித்திட வைத்தாய

பேயா என்றேன் புன்சிரிப்பு கொண்டாய்

முக்தா என்றேன் மோனத்தில் ஆழ்ந்தாய்

முருகா என்றேன் உருகியே வந்தாய்

சிவனே என்றேன் சக்தியைத் தந்தாய்

கண்ணா என்றேன் என் கண்ணைத் திறந்தாய்

தாயே என்றேன் தாவி அணைத்தாய்

இறைவா என்றேன் விரைவாக வந்தாய்

குழந்தாய் என்றேன் கொஞ்சிச் சிரித்தாய்

காலடியில் வைத்து கருணைமழை பொழிந்தாய்

நேருக்கு நேரே உனைக் காணுகின்றேன் - உன்

நிழலில்தானே இன்றும் பசியாறுகின்றேன்
